Furniture, wood, drywall, flooring, cabinets, roofing, yard waste, general household junk and most construction debris.
Prohibited
Paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste and anything flammable or hazardous.
Special handling
Mattresses, appliances with refrigerant and electronics may carry extra fees or require separate recycling.
Where hazardous waste goes
Ventura County residents can use household hazardous waste collection events and permanent drop-off facilities.
